Took A Meal Into A Less Active Mom Who Just Delivered A New Baby

There is a less active sister that moved into town from a neighboring town several months ago. We had visited there several times. Her husband is not a member and was not overly friendly towards us. This couple had a new baby girl last week. We decided to take in a meal to them. They have 5 children with the new baby all under the age of 8. The mother was very appreciative of us taking in the meal and we were able to talk with the husband some as well. This was by far the friendliest he has been towards us. Food of any kind seems to be a good missionary tool. We decided to take the food in containers that would need to be returned, so we would have an excuse to go back.  Baby steps, but we can see a little progress in the home with the husband.
