Positive Feedback From Our Christmas Gifts

For Christmas we gave out Christmas stories and a letter with our testimony to approximately 85 people. For 26 of our nonmember friends we included a copy of the Book of Mormon and several pamphlets. Our Baptist friends were not home when we delivered their gift so we just placed it in between their door and the screen door. They came by our house the next day and gave us a box of chocolates and thanked us for the gift. They said they did not have our contact information so they just decided to come by the house. I told them we included our contact information in the gift, I guess they were waiting until Christmas to open it. I told them to open the gift when they got home. Later that day we received a phone call from the wife, she said she loved the Christmas stories and the letter with our testimonies. We received a Christmas card from another nonmember friend saying that she loved the stories and had read some of the Book of Mormon. Our next door neighbor called and thanked us for the gift and said he was reading some of the Book of Mormon. A friend at the fitness center said that she read one of the Christmas stories to her grand children. A member of the Branch thanked us for the stories and gave us some homemade sweet bread and one of her favorite Christmas stories. We actually used that story to give to our matriarch friend on Christmas Day. It was the perfect story about someone finding the Christ child on Christmas day to complete a Nativity scene.
