Over the past year, James and Charlotte Cannon have become close friends. We had made plans to go see them prior to leaving for the mission. However the last several weeks were pretty hectic and we didn’t get over there. Linda and I were talking about how to find time to go see them late Thursday evening. The next morning James called and we were able to talk and then he brought the girls over a little later, we got to say our good-byes, I was a little teary-eyed and I think James was as well.
Later that afternoon, just before we were leaving to get set apart, Charlotte, Angie, and the girls came over and again we were able to say good-bye. We are sorry that we will miss Angie’s baptism but we know the restored gospel will bless her life. Again it was pretty emotional with some tears. It is amazing how much we grow to love those we work with in the Church.
