Bible Study At The Nursing Home

Last week we received a call from the Activities Director at one of the Nursing homes where we help with Bingo. She asked if we could conduct their Bible Study as the person who normally does that had a conflict. We were given very short notice, but we agreed to do it. We asked the young elders to assist us. One of our young elders plays the piano and we asked him if he sang as well. He said a little, so we suggested that he sing a solo for the musical number. He was a little reticent since he had never sung a solo before. I told him that this was the perfect place for a first solo since half of the audience would not be able to hear him and the other half would not be able to remember that he sang. We put together a little program and presented it. I believe the residents enjoyed it.
