Attended the Wedding of the Mayor's Daughter

We, along with the young Elders, have met with and taught some of the discussions to the Mayor of a neighboring town. We have also met with and taught his daughter, who is out of the house and on her own. The daughter invited us to the wedding and so we attended on Saturday. It had rained pretty hard Saturday morning, but by the afternoon it had cleared up. The wedding was held next to a lake and it was a real pretty setting. We met another person at the wedding that we believe we can go visit, so that is always exciting.

The only down side to attending a wedding out here that is held by a lake on the grass is more chigger bites. Again the next day I had several more chigger bites. 

Teaching the Mayor's Daughter with the Elders

Over the past several months, the young Elders have been teaching the daughter of the mayor of a neighboring town. She became busy with school and other things and the Elders had lost contact for a while. The last two weeks, the Elders started teaching her again and  invited us to teach with them. She is about to get married at the end of this month and invited us to the wedding which we are planning to attend.

She has been invited to be baptized. We have had several good discussions with her and the hope is that her fiance will agree to be taught as well.
