Sister Anderson and I
have had some success the past several weeks talking to people about their
family history, sharing with them a flyer titled, “How do I Start My Family
History” and then offering assistance to them.
We explain to them that we are on the mission looking for ways to serve others and this is one of the things we are doing. We show them a copy of the fan chart and explain we would try to do something like that for them. Our hope is that they will catch the spirit of Elijah and get on Family Search and then have a desire to know why the Church gathers all this information.
