A week or so ago while getting our morning exercise walking the golf course, the temperature was 6 degrees. Then this last Friday, I believe the temperature was
almost 70 degrees by the middle of the day.
I had in my mind that a sign of the last days,
was you will not be able to know the seasons except by the changing of the
leaves?" It turns out, I was not able to find that in scripture.
One site on the internet said they had a number of
people ask that question, and that it wasn’t biblical and evidently comes from
the “3 Days of Darkness” prophecy of Padre Pio, a Roman Catholic priest. The
exact quote appears to be, “You will know when that time is approaching because
the seasons will change so the only way you will know the seasons is by the
leaves on the trees.”
Well, I had never heard of that prophecy or that Catholic
priest, so I am clueless as to where I got that idea!
