Because of the hotter weather now, if we do not walk early in the mornings because of an early meeting, we try to walk in the evening when it has started to cool off. Sometimes it has been almost dark by the time we arrive back at the house. It is kind of fun because this time of year there are thousands of fireflies around the lake. It is fun to see them light up as they fly. They are sometimes called Lighting Bugs because of the chemical reaction that allows them to light up.
